Grace Fellowship Church is a young church, located 30-minutes northwest of Fort Worth, Texas. GFC was started a little over 12 years ago in Wise County. It is located in Paradise, Texas with an average attendance between 1,300-1,400 on Sunday mornings.


The mission of the Grace Fellowship Church is to reach unchurched people and lead them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. It operates under the belief that the local church is the vehicle God uses to impact the world, and the role of the pastor is to help equip people to carry out that mission.


The Student Pastor of GFC will be responsible for creating a thriving ministry for students in Grades 5-12, while providing leadership to each student, their parents, and the volunteer teams of the church. He will create and implement a ministry that connects with, and helps fulfill the mission of the church. The ultimate goal of this position is to see students reached for Christ, led into a growing relationship with Him, while incorporating their families and other adults in the process.


The ideal candidate will possess a college degree from an accredited university, with solid ministry-related experience, accompanied by the following skills to scale:

  • A strong communicator, both in verbal and written forms.
  • Ability to strategize, initiate, coach, and deploy a sustainable student leadership team consisting of exceptionally gifted individuals.
  • Capability of developing a dynamic middle school and high school ministry.
  • Build, implement, and execute events that bridge students and their acceptance of Christ.
  • Proven adaptability navigating between systems and relationships.

Located 30-minutes outside the DFW metroplex its surrounding areas are abound with flat rolling hills and streets lined with native trees ranging from Oak and Pecan to Mesquite and Cottonwood. As of 2000 (U.S. Census), there were approximately 173 households in Paradise. The median household income in 2013 was in the $45,000 range, with an estimated median housing value of $105,887. Major industries in the area during the 1800's were excavation, construction, and oil and water well drilling in the 1800's, although these became less prominent during the 20th century with the urbanization in larger adjacent cities.
