Willow Creek Community Church (WCCC, Willow Creek, or Willow) is a thriving, multisite church with a weekly attendance of more than 25,000 people. Willow has achieved broad, global influence across a wide range of denominations and throughout the business world as a resource for those seeking to implement “best practices.” These have largely been in the areas of reaching those far from God through relevant, biblical teaching and weekend services, developing impactful teams, providing world-class leadership training, building organizational excellence, and leading compassion and justice initiatives that change the community and the world.


The Executive Director of Ministries leads a significant number of the ministries at Willow Creek Community Church including children and student ministry, family ministry, and sections ministry, helping each one to thrive and reach their full potential. The position is responsible for ensuring each ministry has a winnable strategy, clear goals, is identifying and solving problems, and achieves its purpose. The person in this role is responsible for ensuring each ministry is appropriately staffed with fantastic people who are great fits, aligned to their gifting. The position is also responsible for ensuring each ministry is appropriately resourced.


The person in this position will need to have ten plus years in a significant leadership position in the marketplace or mega church context. He/she must have a demonstrated ability in leading leaders, working collaboratively, and building a business or ministry.


An undergraduate degree in a relevant field is required for this position. Key attributes of the next
