Job Description:

About Riverside Church: Riverside Church (www.Riverside.Church) is a 6-year-old church (200+ people) rooted on the west side of South Bend, Indiana in a racially, economically, and educationally diverse community.  Riverside Church was planted with the vision to be an outward-focused church that reaches the city through both evangelism and restoration.  As an example of this vision, Riverside Church meets in an abandoned bowling alley, which Riverside purchased and converted into “The Beacon,” a community center.  The Beacon (www.BeaconSB.org) is the primary meeting space for multiple community organizations and nonprofits that share our vision to see the west side of South Bend transformed.  The mission of Riverside is to “Follow Jesus. Love people. Impact the world.“  We highly value discipleship, which is exemplified through the foundation of our church being rooted in home groups (mid-week gatherings in homes). On Sunday mornings, we gather to worship through singing, communion, primarily expositional preaching, and our large children’s ministry.
