The Campus Ministries Technician contributes to compelling worship services and resources staff and volunteers for ministry by maintaining, installing, and repairing the lighting, sound, and video systems operated by the Production Department; by partnering with the Campus Ministries Technical Director to recruit and lead a volunteer team for high impact; by operating the production systems for events in the Atrium and Chapel; and by assisting the Campus Ministries Technical Director with projects and events as requested.





Set Up for Rehearsals and Events in Both the Atrium and the Chapel

  • Work with the creative teams to determine the technical needs
  • Create and implement an effective, distraction-free execution plan


Partner with the Campus Ministries Technical Director to Lead a Volunteer Team For Maximum Impact

  • Build a culture defined by love and unity 
  • Recruit, train, lead, and direct volunteer teams for maximum impact
  • Cast vision regularly by sharing stories and celebrating wins
  • Provide coaching and feedback for continuous improvement


Support Events Across the Campus (As Needed)

  • Connect with event owner when needed to determine specific technical needs
  • Set up, execute, and tear down gear as needed


Preserve Clean and Stable Technical Environments

  • Clean and maintain technical storage areas
  • Assist with updates, repairs, and new equipment installations as assigned
  • Maintain and prepare portable equipment for offsite use

  • Experience in audio, video, and lighting for live events (3 years experience preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb 12 foot ladder
  • Must be comfortable working on a single person lift (at heights up to 45 feet high)
