New Song Community Church is a racially diverse, multi-generational, multi-campus Christian church committed to bringing hope to North San Diego County and the world. We have four campuses and anticipate adding additional campuses in the future. The Mission of New Song is “To help unchurched people become fully devoted followers of Christ.”


At New Song, we know that one of the easiest ways for someone to become a fully devoted follower of Christ is through excellent children and youth programs. Each year at New Song, hundreds of children make decision to invite Jesus to be their “Forever Friend”. We are looking for a Youth Pastor for our Central Campus who shares our values and is passionate about helping youth take their next steps for Christ. The Central Campus Youth Pastor is responsible for overseeing our Middle and High School programs at our largest campus.

In fulfilling this role, the ideal candidate will:

  • Hire, manage, equip and encourage dynamic teams of staff and volunteers
  • Develop and implement creative and exciting youth ministry programs and environment
  • Provide a safe and secure environment where youth are free to grow in Christ
  • Conduct weekly High School and Middle School services
  • Oversee weekly Youth Small Groups and House Groups
  • Oversee the budget and monitor spending and capital improvements for the Youth ministry

Qualifications include:

  • Character above reproach
  • Bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry, Master’s preferred
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in Youth Ministry
  • High energy
  • Spiritual gifts in leadership, teaching and
  • Culturally aware and creative
  • Proven ability to develop and lead groups and teams
  • Passionate about connecting with youth and parents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
