Oak Hills Church (OHC) is a grace-based, non-denominational, multi-site church with five locations throughout San Antonio, one in Fredericksburg, TX and one international location in Natal, Brazil. Each Campus celebrates a shared passion to reach their
city and neighbors through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a commitment to grow believers in their Christian walk. That passion is expressed in our mission and vision to be the Body of Christ to every neighborhood in our city and beyond. We see this as a
goal that is within reach because of the collaborative and team led nature of our campuses. For over 50 years we have lived out our commitment to serve both our local community and neighbors by equipping each person to
belong to a loving community of believers, grow in their relationship with Christ, and
serve others through their spiritual gifts and resources. Today, over 10,000 people gather weekly in their homes, on their campuses and through online live-streaming opportunities to make that mission and vision active in their lives.
OHC is seeking a Children’s Ministry Director to lead all ministries for children Birth – 5th Grade. The Children’s Ministry Director is the lead implementer of the overall OHC Children’s Ministry Strategy and children’s programing on their campus. This
includes resourcing and partnering with parents to be the primary disciplers of their children; recruiting, equipping and empowering a team of serving leaders; creating exciting and age appropriate environments for children to learn and grow; overseeing and
ensuring the safety of the children and those serving; and organizing events and retreats. A successful Children’s Ministry Director must demonstrate a passion and ability to cast vision and equip leaders to lead teams.
On Easter Sunday of 2005 Oak Hills Church launched its first ever off-site Campus and Journey Fellowship (Journey) was born in a rented facility that was once known as the Blue Bonnet Palace Dance Hall. The same stage that once hosted celebrities such
as Alan Jackson, George Strait and Willie Nelson has been transformed to invite people into worship and engage the powerful message of God’s grace and redemption. Currently an average of 1300 people regularly gather for worship in one of the 3 weekend services
at Journey Fellowship. From the very start the people who call Journey their home have been unified by the message of grace and a passion for reaching the unchurched. Located on the border of Schertz and Selma, TX in Northeast San Antonio, Journey enjoys
an incredible congregation of people who are called together to reach their city and neighborhoods with the power of Jesus Christ.
