Church Profile

Imago Dei Church is a gospel centered church plant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  We are affiliated with Acts 29 and Converge Great Lakes.  The purpose God has given Imago Dei Church is to live out the image of God.  He is establishing our church on the following distinctives.

We are centered on the gospel.  We believe that people are saved by receiving the gospel and sanctified by applying the gospel.  The gospel is central to what we believe, how we live, and how we love.

We serve as a team of teams.  Since we have been created in the image of a Triune God, we must strive to serve within the context of community.  Together, we aim for the glory of One.

We are committed to developing leaders.  Our primary staffing strategy is to raise up our own leaders.  Our sending strategy is to send out our own people.  We believe the local church is responsible to discover, develop, and deploy leaders throughout the world.

We embrace the beauty of cultural diversity.  God created the nations to display His beauty.  We must embrace and celebrate the diversity of the culture God has planted us in.

We are organized around mission.  Everything we do hinges on mission.  We are here for those who aren’t here yet.
