Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per Hour depending on experience and qualifications
Reports to Lead Pastor
The Graphic Designer provides support to the staff Pastors, Elders, Ministry Leaders and staff (both employed and volunteer) in the area of design and preparation of all artwork for printed and electronic publications at the Living Room Community
Church. This includes maintaining the Church’s website and Facebook page. This position necessitates exceptional communication, administrative and interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to the mission of The Living Room Community Church, its church
family and the community.

- Giftedness to create compelling artwork logos, design and branding
- Ability to work when given content and direction but also has the ability to creatively design with less direction
- Has experience working with professional design software
- Can create and edit compelling videos that not only portray the event, but do so in an artistic and excellent manner
Help people discover The Living Room Community Church through media including: video, newspaper, website and social media. Prepare, proofread, edit, format and monitor all printed, electronic mail and website input. Receive and approve, edit if necessary,
and format information, or create internally, design and print literature, publications, signage, and all related publication materials, such as weekend Programme, all accompanying items for that publication as well as special events and/or activities.
Maintain calendar of ongoing and typical Church events and activities to anticipate appropriate lead times for material preparation and publication both for advertising and supporting the event.
Design, maintain and update Church website, keeping all information current on a continuous basis.
Receive, proofread, edit and format submissions for electronic communication.
Maintain and operate electronic vehicle for the purpose of communicating information in an electronic format, such as preparing and publishing the Church e-news (electronic newsletter).

Assist in keeping receiving, office and kitchen areas clean and presentable for guests. If last one to leave office for the day, cleanup coffee service and store perishables away in the refrigerator when not in use. Be aware of general condition and organization
of the building including restrooms, note any and all findings and observations of facility concern and report to Facilities Manager for appropriate action.
The Church will provide an office, computer and software, cameras, recording equipment, printed materials, etc.
Working hours will be at the Church and will have some flexibility to work from home.
Follow policies and procedures put in place by Church Leadership.
Required to be a regular attender of The Living Room Community Church.
Required to attend meetings as directed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Assist with special events as required.
Work evenings and weekends as requested. As with church life, there will be seasons when more hours are required to complete the expectations.
Complete The Jesus Class.
Continuing education as appropriate.
SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS
Be familiar with general office policies and administrative procedures and practices.
Willing to be trained to access and use the church database software, Elexio.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School education or equivalent, as well as a minimum of at least one year related experience is desired.
