Connect Christian Church is a dynamic non-denominational church that is impacting the eastside of Cincinnati in a significant way.

Connect Christian Church believes in the value of a portable church, which allows them to focus more on people—to serve, love, and help them. Not having to fiscally overextend or constrain themselves paying for a building allows them to be more flexible and free to do ministry. Connect exists to connect people to Jesus and lead them into a growing relationship with Him. At Connect, people will find:

  • A place where they are welcomed
  • A place where questions and doubts are invited
  • A place where they can encounter Jesus in a powerful way
  • A place where they can find, connect, and serve with people on the same journey

The next Kids Pastor of Connect Christian Church will be a strong leader with a capability to disciple children who attend the church on a regular basis, as well as sharing your story to those in and within the school system with which Connect Christian Church is affiliated. They will lead, continue growth and execute the ministry mission, with an acquired skill set that includes vision-based development, mobilization, and management.

While education is not a predetermining factor in the selection of a new Kid’s Pastor, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field of Early Childhood Development, Christian Education, or Children’s Ministry is preferred. Experience and skills necessary to succeed in this role include:

  • Demonstrated 3-5 years of development and administrative oversight in full-time Children’s Ministry
  • Proven experience using the Orange Curriculum or equivalent
  • Skilled in identifying, attracting and recruiting new leaders
  • A history of empowering people and leading teams of staff and volunteers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Successful leadership experience in vision setting
  • Ability to administer and organize budgets, events and ministry communications
  • Be tech savvy with the ability to incorporate modern technology into teaching and communication efforts
