Heritage Church is a multisite church in the Illinois & Iowa Quad Cities located near the Mississippi River. Calling the Quad Cities home for more than 40 years, Heritage has exponentially grown from a small church in Moline, IL to a campus of multiple locations in both Illinois and Iowa.


The original Heritage Campus was birthed in Moline, IL and moved to Rock Island, IL, and continues to serve as the largest among three campuses to date. With over 1,200 seats, it hosts weekly services that welcome local and national ministry icons and worship artists throughout the year. The Worship & Creative Arts Pastor will serve on the Strategic Leadership Team and will be directly responsible for the Creative/Redemptive Arts, Worship/Prayer, and Media/Technical department at Heritage Church. They will lead the programming and implementation process of weekly adult worship services across all Heritage campuses. This position will lead the Media Director and Technical Services Director, as well as the creative process overall.


They will hold themselves to a high standard of both spiritual and programming excellence and model a life of intimacy with God through every aspect of their ministry. This position must ensure that the spiritually authentic atmosphere of the Heritage Worship DNA is maintained across all campuses. Additionally, the Worship & Creative Arts Pastor will lead worship at times at each of the campuses.


He/she is to maintain a level of excellence, in both leadership and music in the execution of responsibilities pertaining to this role. As a pastor, he/she will be a part of the Heritage pastoral team, and will invest in people to encourage, challenge, and help them grow to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. For the purpose of executing all position-related responsibilities with excellence, a candidate with a bachelor’s degree will be highly preferred.


Success in this role will be based upon the effective creation, design, and pursuit of excellence in all areas of the worship experience, while exhibiting a heart for authentic and relevant worship. Additionally, this person should possess leadership acumen and be able to attract/recruit, train/coach and reproduce people in this area of ministry. 


The Quad Cities Area (QCA) consists of Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa, and Moline, East Moline, and Rock Island in Illinois.
