The vision for Tabernacle of Praise is to reach lost souls for Jesus Christ so that all men may be saved by any means necessary, while their mission is to empower, equip, and enlighten all who come into the saving grace of Jesus Christ through worship, discipleship, and impartation.

In June 2005, Tabernacle of Praise Church International held its first service in the home of Pastor & Co-Pastor McBride. With a unique vision to create a community-minded church whose vision is to reach lost souls by any means necessary, Tabernacle of Praise Church International has now grown to a congregation just shy of 3,000, most of whom have joined the church over the past three years.

The Executive Pastor of Ministries will serve by helping to identify and act upon ideas that enable the ministries of Tabernacle of Praise Church International and its leading staff to operate more effectively and, in so doing, to better fulfill its vision. The Executive Pastor of Ministries will have direct oversight responsibilities in areas pertaining to the executive staff and general oversight of all ministry departments and operations, as well as shared involvement in the educational operations of the church, which may include its early learning center and Bible institute. The successful candidate must be organized and assertive, display excellence in the area of ministry strategy and execution, be highly relational, and maintain a heart for people with different personalities, skill sets, and backgrounds.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of growing a ministry in a community setting that has interactions with people from multi-generational backgrounds and economic statuses. A bachelor’s degree is required, while a MBA or related master’s degree is desirable. In addition, the candidate will have at least five years of professional, executive experience in a church of 2,500 attendees or more. This role requires strong administrative giftedness, along with excellent verbal and written skills, so the successful candidate must possess the ability to think biblically, creatively, and critically regarding how to help the local church and its staff is as effectively as possible.

The ideal candidate will be a ‘ministry strategist,’ progress and results oriented, and capable of turning ideas into action. They will display a high level of emotional intelligence, an intuitive nature, and an upstanding character of integrity and credibility, guided by a sound set of ethical principles. It is imperative that he is a creative and pragmatic problem solver who is energized by challenges, with the ability to identify untapped opportunities on which to capitalize for the progressive growth of the organization.
