Located in the heart of East Tennessee, Christ Fellowship is an inter-denominational church whose primary vision is “to equip individuals to be all God designed them to be."

Led by Pastor Greg DePriest for 25 years, Christ Fellowship has grown from a small traditional church of just 60 people to near 2,000 attendees. Strategically nestled within the Tri-Cities, Christ Fellowship sits upon 115-acres of land, and is dedicated to reach people of all ages, races, and backgrounds for the cause of Christ. As a member of the ARC (Association of Related Churches) and fueled by an intentional approach to fostering healthy relationships with others, Christ Fellowship is not only a dynamic church to attend but an irresistible family in which to belong.

A visionary leader who is gifted in nurturing healthy relationships, while effectively communicating biblical truths in a relatable way, will best fulfill the role of Lead Pastor at Christ Fellowship.

The successful candidate will be a model of leadership for the greater community. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to strategically and collaboratively discern the ministry priorities of Christ Fellowship and empower its staff to further support the congregation in all areas of ministry.

The successful candidate should be one who has demonstrated several years of professional development and success. A formal bachelor’s or master’s level background in education is preferable. This is not so much for the direct value it brings as it is for the head start it provides for the acceptance of a new leader within the church and surrounding community. Required experience and core competencies include:

  • Learner: Committed and continued growth, knowledge, and understanding in all areas of life.
  • Communicator: Excellent teaching/preaching and communication style that reveals an exceptional understanding of Scripture. Humble and engaging in his approach, and able to influence others through vision casting.
  • Developer: Gifted with the ability to motivate, model, and nurture teams around strategic objectives. Able to take the initiative in leading and including others.
  • Builder: Proven ability to manage, delegate, recruit, and equip others for the work of ministry. A passion to listen and effectively navigate people towards their God-given purpose and destiny.
