Job Description:

The Assistant to Executive Director is to lead people into a growing relationship with Christ by assisting the Executive Director with all administrative business and operational aspects of YNCC.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Assist Executive Director in church operations
  2. Assist in development of tool (resources) for Pastors.
  3. Assist in Budget Planning
  4. Assist in Facilities Management
  5. Assist and take charge of projects as needed (ie. Web Development, App Development, Congregation Data Analysis, etc.)
  6. Assist in Corporation, Insurance, and Other Administrative functions
  7. Maintain church records.
  8. Personnel Records
  9. Attendance Records
  10. Financial Records,
  11. Corporation Records
  12. Church History
  13. Other as necessary
  14. Assist Executive Director in church operations
  15. Finance
  16. HR
  17. Insurance
  18. Facilities
  19. Assist Executive Director in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

10. Assist Senior Accountant in appropriate and accurate accounting records are maintained including:

  1. Processing reimbursement requests
  2. Preparation for annual audits
  3. 11.  Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

12. Attend staff meetings as needed.


Education and Experience:


  1. Maintains confidentiality in all situations
  2. Must have a heart for the ministry of YNCC and the people of this church family
  3. Must demonstrate an ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ through regular prayer, Bible study and worship attendance
  4. Must be or willing to become a member of YNCC church
  5. Must demonstrate working knowledge of computers and proficiency in software programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and use of the Internet
  6. Experience in ministry is a plus.
  7. Experience as an administrative assistant is a plus
  8. Fluency in Korean is a plus.
