The mission of Beachside Community Church, is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Its strategy is to create environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with Godcommunity with insiders, and influence with outsiders.


Beachside Community Church started in 2008, when four families began meeting in a home to discuss the idea of creating a church that unchurched people would love to attend. Modeled after the North Point Network, it has experienced much success over the years. Beachside has progressively grown since its inception, and has successfully maintained its mission through it all – to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.


The Student Ministry Director will lead individuals into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by overseeing ministries related to middle and high school students and their parents. This individual will offer vision and strategic foresight for the successful growth of the ministry. They will be a leader-developer who champions the leadership model of Beachside Community Church and “reproduces self in leaders.” They will have a strong understanding of the unique DNA of the church and will seamlessly align the goals of the student ministry in conjunction with them.

A bachelor’s degree is highly preferable for the purpose of effectively executing the expectations of this role. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experiences, among others:

  • An exceedingly strong work ethic.
  • A strong ability to relate to economically, educationally, and ethnically diverse individuals.
  • A willingness to connect with diversified groups of students (ie. unchurched, those facing life challenges, military children, theologically widespread, etc).
  • Highly relational and adequately organized.
  • Strong communication abilities, with a particular skill in live teaching.
  • A history of steady and consistent expansion of ministry area(s), evidenced by numeric growth.
