What You’ll Champion // ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Serve as Technical Producer for Sunday services and special events
  • Manage Volunteer Production Team by exhibiting Christian leadership, positive coaching, and skill development
  • Work closely and in-step with Minister of Music to implement a shared vision for Sunday services
  • Responsible for all technical systems: audio, video, lighting in all auditorium spaces (Sanctuary, Christian Activities Center (CAC), Choir Room, and Youth Sanctuary)
  • Manage production budget
  • Ensure high standards for Sunday services in the areas of programming and production
  • Function as project manager for new initiatives and/or upgrades
  • Provide oversight for church website and server related issues




  • Provide training, scheduling, and leadership to volunteer production team (3 hours)
  • Oversee programming and production of 3 Sunday services, 1 Wednesday service, 1 Worship Band rehearsal, and other special events (weddings, funerals, seasonal events) (16 hours)
  • Program unique lighting, visuals, and sound to complement the chosen music and message in a way that creates a special and immersive worship experience (5 hours)
  • Attend production and staff meetings as required (2 hours)
  • Project manage production upgrades, repairs, and new installation for all production spaces (4 hours)
  • Provide programming and technical consultation to other FBC ministries (3 hours)
  • Provide assistance with graphic design needs specific to worship services and other related events (2 hours)
  • Keep church website updated and server running properly (3 hours)
  • Maintain quality audio recording and editing of weekly services for distribution (2 hours)




  • Education: Bachelors degree, Associates degree, technical school degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required (typically 4+ years)
  • 4+ years working in a music, live production, creative, or church environment
  • 2+ years supervisory skills
  • A working knowledge of Planning Center Online, ProPresenter, analog and digital mixing consoles, lighting systems, and Pro Tools (or similar recording software)
  • Passion for utilizing all types of programming and production arts that create environments and experiences to enhance worship services
  • Proven ability to lead and work well with all levels of staff and volunteers
  • Passion for top quality production and excellence with a working knowledge of all aspects of live production which includes: programming, audio, lighting, multimedia, and music
  • Passion for Jesus and using the technical arts to create meaningful worship experiences
  • Flexibility is a must as this position requires working evenings and weekends
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and use good judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and be a team player
  • Ability to receive and process feedback effectively
