Children's Director Position:

Hope Reformed Church is located in Grand Haven, MI along the coast of Lake Michigan.  Grand Haven is considered to be one of the best places to vacation in America during the summer months but you are truly able to enjoy the beauty of God's creation all year around with every season.  It is considered a suburb of Grand Rapids, MI providing everything that you would need within a short drive.  Grand Haven boasts to having one of the best school systems in the State making it a great place to not only be involved in ministry but also to stay and raise a family.  

Hope Reformed Church was started nearly 80 years ago sharing the love of Jesus with every child and youth in the Grand Haven and Robinson Township.  This same passion continues today.  In the last 8 years Hope has experienced rapid growth in the church!  Hope's Children's Director will provide leadership and direction for this passion to continue.  The expectations are that they will share God's love inside the church walls and more importantly outside the church walls.

The Children's Director will provide leadership from birth-4th grade.. Their main leadership responsibility will be through leading and equipping the volunteers and parents.  Children's Ministry at Hope fits within the greater mission of the church, "Joining God to bring", and the Children's Director will provide the creative leadership needed to communicate this message within the children's ministry.  

We are looking for people that have had success in growing a ministry and providing the leadership to keep it growing.  They will be able to communicate with both children and adults alike.  They will have a burning passion for children and get excited about sharing God's love with everyone they meet.  They will have experience of building leaders and working with teams.  This is a part-time position.
