Director of Worship

Responsible for planning and conducting worship services through music selection, scheduling volunteer musicians, leading the worship team, and engaging the congregation in meaningful praise and worship that is Christ-centered and biblically accurate.


Northampton Bible Church is an established church that formed 60 years ago. The church has transitioned through many stages. Our church started as a very traditional church where hymns were the means of worships. Over the past few years, we have moved to a contemporary style of worship, while not forgetting about the hymns by incorporating contemporary hymns into our worship. Everything we do is done while keeping our target of young families in mind and that includes our worship style. More information about can be found at

•    become and remain an active member of Northampton Bible Church

•    recruit, develop, and schedule volunteers, building team camaraderie, as well as helping them grow as musicians/technicians.

•    plan worship services, lead rehearsals, and lead worship services that engage the congregation in worship

•    assist with the development of the Worship Ministry budget and maintain accountability for the stewardship of that budget

•    assist with the ongoing care and maintenance of church-owned musical equipment

•    continue to grow in musical skill and understanding of musical worship, finding new ideas to continually acclimate us to the future

•    humbly and cheerfully execute any additional duties as assigned
