Job Description:

White River Christian Church is a growing and dynamic church with a weekly average attendance of approximately 2500 people. We are located in Noblesville, Indiana, which is northeast of the Indianapolis metropolitan area. WRCC has a passion for connecting every life to Jesus on both local and global mission fields. We are currently looking for a Global Outreach Pastor (missions pastor) to expand our part in God’s mission to make disciples of all nations. Currently, WRCC has thriving mission field partnerships in the United States, Panama, Mexico, Eastern Europe, Kenya, and Thailand. The individual we believe God is calling for our congregation is one who will help others develop in their faith by carrying out the mission God has given us around the world.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain global and local partnerships
  • Provide short-term mission experiences for trip participants including developing team leaders, scheduling, promotion, and budget oversight
  • Recruit, develop, equip, disciple, and empower volunteer leaders within the Global Outreach ministry
  • Oversight and planning of Global Outreach budget
  • Engaged participant in carrying out the mission of White River Christian Church to connect every life to Jesus.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years ministry related experience
  • Theological education
  • Passionate belief in sharing the Gospel with people, as well as, meeting their physical needs
  • Posses a goal driven, strategic approach to Global Outreach ministries
  • Skilled leader with experience in communication, casting and implementing vision, building teams, and effectively empowering others to new responsibility
  • Enthusiastic and energetic with the ability to be a team player
