The focus of the Youth Director role at Woodinville Alliance is on developing and sustaining a ministry that "sees" and reaches a community of young adults that are engaged with the larger Stories of Scripture, as they learn to make "normal" a life of transformation
and empowerment through God's Spirit in them. Our priority is reaching the churched and unchurched alike, building an integrated approach to the spiritual and emotional development of young adults (6th - 12th grade) as they emerge from and head into other
ministry areas and life outside the "4 walls of the Church". Our next Youth leader will have a passion for small group and relationship building across a diversity of ages, ethnicity, personalities and also be comfortable creating strong partnerships with
other ministry leaders, the broader church community and parents alike. The Youth Director will be an "inviter" them self.
An emphasis on establishing an environment that encourages creativity, authenticity, learning and expectancy for God's transformation/growth should underlie the strategic and execution aspects of this ministry. This position will require strong organizational
planning and communicating skills supporting the coordination of teaching, community building, and group activities that engage the larger congregation. Interaction with operational and communication aspects of the broader church and which support youth ministry,
will require experience with creating effective communications; using media platforms; familiarity with church management software a plus; creation of web/social medial content and a general understanding of audio/visual infrastructure/tools.
Our vision is to establish a leadership culture that grows and leads together as a team, contributing towards building a healthy community through individuals eager to do life together as they experience the goodness of God... they will have passion to encourage
others to "taste and see." We desire the next Youth Director to be an active contributor on the leadership team.
