Job Description:

Church Description: Idaville First Church of God is a rural church that desires to reach out to the surrounding community with the love of Christ. We are an older congregation with a handful of younger families who are very active and anxious to grow. 


-We have a very nice facility (built in 2002) that is debt free and we are located on a major highway (State Road 24). Seating capacity 240. 


-Our worship service is blended with a combination of contemporary worship songs and some traditional hymns. We have part-time worship leader.


-We have an active outreach on Wednesday nights to the children of our community. We minister to about 30 children and youth (mostly from unchurched families) by providing a great meal and a VBS style program. 


-We host a Preschool in our facility. 


-We are located about 6 miles from Monticello, IN (pop. 8,000), where many of our families live. We see much potential for growth and outreach there and in the surrounding smaller communities that we draw from. We are 15 miles from Logansport (pop. 19,000). And about 40 minutes from Lafayette/West Lafayette/Purdue University.


-We are committed to biblical preaching and desire someone who will continue to lead us in the Word.

Age: 35-50 

Marital Status: Married (Preferred)


-Gifted in Preaching/Teaching God’s Word, Strong Interpersonal Skills, Community Minded.


-Strong desire help members deepen their spiritual relationship with the Lord. 


-Evangelistic heart and life-style. Passion to reach younger singles and families in community.


-A heart to minister to the older portion of the congregation and community.
