Searching for creative and innovative candidates interested in developing the media and technology component of a thriving and growing church!  Our weekly average is 1200+ each weekend. Our congregation is primarily made up of young families in their 30's with young children. Our leadership team is very unified and has been serving together for over 7 years. The church has steadily grown for 7 straight years.  We currently are using very little media and technology and recognize that we have a great need to develop this area.

Position Purpose

To oversee, direct, and develop the media and technology for used for events and the weekend experience of White Flag Church to achieve its mission:




Job Summary

Lead the creative responsibilities of the church by directing, overseeing, and recruiting volunteers and contracted specialists to pursue excellence in through media and the arts.


Essential Responsibilities


1. Creative Eye for Story Telling and Communicating

     – Creating sermon bumpers

     – Integrating messaging and videos into weekly services and other communications to congregation


2. Technical Giftedness to Film, Edit, and Produce

     – Filming, editing, and posting weekly sermons

     – Creating media pieces, designing, writing, interviewing, testimonies, etc.


3. Development and Training of Volunteers

     –  Identifies talented people and provides instructions and leadership to expand their talents

     –  Grow pool volunteers on that contribute to the media and creative arts of the church


4. Leverage Social Media and WFCC Website to Communicate White Flag’s Message

     – Maintain WFCC website and periodically redesign or update backend and frontend components

     – Oversight of all church social media

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities

  • Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • 5-10 years of managing a media and technology function
  • Knowledge of video, production, and various media equipment and supporting technologies and software, including regular maintenance and repair of gear used
  • Experience in writing, developing, directing, and producing video productions
  • Experience in building frontend and backend website design and development
  • Technical knowledge and regular use of social media outlets
