Covenant Church has a simple vision to seek and save the lost in Columbus. As a portable church we gather twice each Sunday at 9:30 & 11am at AMC theater in Grove City to help fulfill that purpose. Everything we do keeps reaching a lost generation in mind.

Columbus for Christ. A vibrant Children’s Ministry is an essential part of ensuring that this church will be partnering with Jesus to seek and save the lost long after the current leadership has passed.
We are looking to hire a Children’s Pastor/Director to facilitate our current ministry and expand upon the existing vision for the Covenant Kids ministry. We are results oriented and provide flexibility for those who are getting things done, encouraging
regular and scheduled time off for family.
This position has a starting salary of $20,000/yr with the flexibility to be a bivocational position for the right candidate. The salary will increase significantly as the church grows.
Covenant Kids Ministry
Covenant Kids ministry has been built and led by a team of volunteers from the very beginning. There are currently around 100 kids on a weekly basis that are a part of the ministry and nearly 60 volunteers who make it happen on a monthly basis. The success
of this ministry rises and falls with our volunteer army. The Covenant Kid’s Pastor/Director will be recruiting, leading, developing and casting vision for our volunteer staff.
The person who will be successful in this position will have had previous experience in a modern kid’s ministry and a gift for building teams to do the work of the ministry. They will need to have clear vision for what a great kid’s ministry can be, as well
as an ability to overcome obstacles and think creatively along the way. Being a confident communicator who can relate a preferred future and mobilize people to accomplish the vision is a must for this position. Although typical abilities such as strong organization
skills, creative ability, and teaching skills will be necessary, we are looking for a person who knows their strengths and weaknesses and is gifted in building volunteer teams to supplement them. We value very highly the ability to replace yourself and make
things better by incorporating good ideas no matter where they originate.
