Demonstrates faith and is a committed Christian believer, who worships regularly with the congregation actively modeling a concern for spiritual growth
Will work in cooperation with the pastor, organist, Administrative Assistant and worship committee in planning services. Choir director reports directly to the Director of Music, and Lead Pastor.
Is responsible for preparing choir and/or small groups performances that are given during the first service (9:00 a.m.) each week except the last Sunday of each month. Choir is not in session during the months of June, July or August. (Choir Director is
NOT responsible for setting up performances during the months the choir is not in session.)
Is responsible for preparing choir and/or small groups (as called for by the pastor) for special services (May include Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, etc.) and stays within the budget guidelines set for the choir by the Church
Responsible for conducting choir rehearsals on a weekly basis and at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday prior to church services and on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. And will recruit new members for the choir and special performances.
