Restoration Fellowship Church ( ) is a 5 year old Body of Believers located in the East Texas city of Longview (two-hours east of Dallas, Texas). Restoration Fellowship Church is a contemporary church with traditional values. We would identify closely with Hillsong Church (Sydney, Australia), Gateway Church (Southlake, Texas) and Church of The Highlands (Birmingham, Alabama).  We value passionate contemporary worship and solid Biblical preaching.  Restoration is a Community Church with an emphasis on local and global outreach, whose Mission is to "see God Restore the World.....One Life at a Time".   From a small core group planted 5 years ago by our founding pastor, Restoration has grown into a diverse and mixed demographic from all walks of life.  We have many young people, older people and middle-aged people. We also have a diverse church in terms of her ethnicity. Many of our weekly 150 to 200 attendees come from a wide range of denominational backgrounds, with a majority being raised in an Assemblies of God or similar experience (yet we also have many former Catholics, Baptists, Methodist, etc.).



Restoration is known as friendly and inviting congregation.  Our modern style of worship, including contemporary worship songs, professional-style media (ProPresenter)  and intelligent lights (Martin, Elation, Chauvet Professional, etc.) and haze machines are all used to prepare attendees to enter into an emersive worship experience.


Restoration is seeking a loving, approachable, outgoing candidate for Lead Pastor. He should have a compelling vision for the local church and the ability to communicate that vision to the staff and leaders. He should have a strong commitment to preparation for Sunday services, as well as other times of preaching, teaching and training. The candidate should also be relationship focused and have the capability of leading, inspiring, coaching and providing spiritual encouragement to a team of part-time ministry staff as well as paid and non-paid leaders.


Our candidate should be able to effectively communicate using the bible, as well as media and technology,  so the church can apply the principles shared to their daily lives. It is important that the candidate be able to provide evidence of growth in the ministry or minitries he has led in the past. The candidate should be both passionate and visionary, establishing a solid plan for growth and outreach for the church. He should also place an emphasis on the enhancement of our existing small group ministry.   In addition, a commitment to build-up a strong and vital youth and children's ministry is imperative.  The ideal candidate will have children in the elementary and Middle School and/or High School age classifications, so there is a vested interest in reaching and growing these two fundamentally vital ministries of our church.




Restoration Fellowship Church  is posting this announcement because our founding pastor will be moving to South Texas at the end of March in order to be with his extended family.  It is our desire to have someone in-place by this time.
