About Oak Hills Church:
Oak Hills is located in Clovis, California and was planted in 2006. For the majority of it’s tenure as a faith community, Oak Hills has functioned as a healthy smaller church of around 125 regular attenders, but has recently seen decline in it’s younger
population and so they currently see less than 100 people on Sunday morning. Therefore, the leadership of Oak Hills is passionate about once again becoming a healthy, intergenerational community, and one of the tangible ways they would like to do that is through
the hiring of a worship leader who can help blend both the cherished songs of the past with the new and innovative worship of emerging generations.
About the Position:
We are looking for a part-time (around 10-12 hours per week) worship leader who is a mature disciple of Jesus Christ, has gifting in music ministry (instrumental and vocal), has a love for the local church, and a passion for intergenerational
expressions of worship.
This person would be responsible for a Sunday morning worship responsibilities including:
- Meeting with Lead Pastor to collaborate around the content of the service
- Connecting with and coordinate existing worship team members as well as preparing to recruit and receive new worship team members as the ministry grows.
- Spending time arranging worship music, organizing and leading rehearsals, and of course, leading worship on Sunday mornings.
- Implementing all administrative responsibilities connected to the worship ministry.
