Job Description:


  • Provide leadership, spiritual direction, and management for an extension campus of Engedi Church.



  • Deeply committed follower of Jesus 
  • Affirms Engedi’s core beliefs, mission, values and life practices by word and example 
  • Effective administrative skills – including the ability to set goals, facilitate advance planning and effectively manage ministry and personal schedules 
  • Strong communication and writing skills 
  • Gifted teacher and public speaker
  • Strong gift of leadership and proven experience developing leaders 
  • Ability to recruit, develop and communicate with volunteers 
  • Aligns with Engedi’s vision to connect with people of varying ethnic and economic backgrounds
  • Team player – humble, willing to defer to others, can lead under direction 
  • Is a partner of Engedi or is willing to become one upon joining staff 
  • Tithes 
  • Is in a CABLE (small) group or is willing to become a part of one upon joining staff 


  • Champion and carry out the vision, mission, values, and DNA of Engedi to the campus 
  • Teach up to 20 times a year at Sunday morning gatherings 
  • Develop, lead and manage the campus staff; paid and unpaid 
  • Participate in the service planning team and teaching team 
  • Provide general leadership of weekend services including oversight of the worship experience, children’s ministry, hospitality ministry, and everything that takes place at the campus 
  • Oversee the development of volunteer leadership within the church 
  • Create and manage the campus budget 
  • Provide pastoral care to campus staff and church attendees 



  • Participate in church wide staff meetings (2x/month) 
  • Participate in church wide directors meetings (2x/month) 
  • Attend church wide staff retreats (two times a year) 



  • Full-time position (45 hours) with benefits including vacation and personal days, cell phone reimbursement, and matching 401k contributions 
  • Reports to either the Lead Pastor or Executive Pastor
