Thrive Community Church (TCC) began on April 9th 2009, in a Jr High School in Katy TX. From day one, the mission of TCC has always been to "make it easy for people to find and follow Jesus Christ." Our desire is to teach people how to live
the Christian life according to the Bible, and to help people through the hard times in life. TCC gathers in large group celebrations for worship and in groups for discipleship, connection, prayer, and ministry.
In light of the increasing size and scope of Thrive Community Church and its operations, the addition of more ministry personnel, and the necessity for the Senior Pastor to focus attention on the overall vision and direction of the church, the position of
Executive Pastor has been designed with overall responsibility for advancing the vision and mission of TCC through the oversight of all church ministries and support functions. The role complements the evangelistic, pastor-teacher spiritual gifts of the Senior
Pastor and partners with him and the staff to achieve the key objectives of the church.
The Executive Pastor will be a seasoned leader who will provide organization leadership and whose focus is on the day-to-day business and ministry operations of the church. He will possess a passion for mentoring, developing leaders and
shepherding staff members in the implementation of the church vision. His counsel will be sought to help shape and manage the strategies developed by the Senior Pastor and staff. To summarize, the purpose of the Executive Pastor is to increase the effectiveness
of the church’s leadership collectively and in their respective ministries, while ensuring the alignment of ministry and business operations with the overall vision and strategic direction of the church.
The successful candidate will hold a bachelors degree and graduate education at a masters level and/or extensive relevant and current leadership experience in church administration, ministry, or non-profit management. They will also possess a minimum of
seven years experience in a executive church leadership role or seven years of experience working directly under the executive pastor at a church of similar DNA.

The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a senior leader in a corporate or church environment
- Previous Executive Pastor experience a plus
- A divinity or biblical studies degree or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of effective leadership, judgment, and above reproach character
- An advanced degree or equivalent experience would be a plus
