GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Lead, facilitate, and oversee various daily operations of Worship Ministries and its personnel in various worship venues across Crossroads Community Church.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION (knowledge, skills, abilities):
Must have ability to lead & pastor artists for production as well as oversee their spiritual well being. Must have creative skills & experience to carry the vision for worship experiences throughout Crossroads (i.e. musical, production, technical,
etc…). Leadership & people skills are highly valued for this position.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES (includes but is not limited to):
1. Carry & cast the vision of Crossroads to lead Worship Ministries to fulfill its mission in each venue.
2. Carry the pastoral responsibilities of the Worship Ministries throughout Crossroads.
3. Function as a rotating Worship Leader to fulfill worship responsibilities throughout Crossroads (including Adults, Middle School, High School & Family venues.)
4. Oversee recruitment & training of volunteers for Worship Ministries throughout Crossroads.
5. Duties as required.
Endorses and supports the 10 biblical doctrines professed by Crossroads Community Church
Will be a member of Crossroads & fulfilling the expectations therein
Serve under the general oversight of the Pastor of Arts & Communications
Participate as full member of support staff and attend applicable meetings
Work within the Creative Arts Leadership Team & Worship Leadership Team
Works closely with High School Pastor, Middle School Pastor & Main Weekend Teaching Pastors
Performance Measurement – Specific measures of satisfactory performance will be assessed informally on a periodic basis and formally on at least an annual basis by the Pastor of Arts & Communications based upon the roles, products, and relationships
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS (includes physical demands):
Work is primarily performed in preparation for worship experiences. Duties in front of an audience are necessary. Production stress is imminent due to the frequency of weekend worship experiences. Constant contact with staff and volunteers as well as
the public is necessary.
