Fellowship Alliance Chapel (FAC) is a thriving, community-focused congregation located in Medford, New Jersey. The vision of the church is for people to know God's call and follow it.

Founded by Pastor Marty Berglund in a converted garage in 1980, FAC has grown from a small group of 17 believers, to a strong community of 2,500. It has sustained a rich and proud history that includes many steps of faith by the church community and Pastor Marty. The future remains bright for the church and the community they impact. Pastor’s Marty’s heart and leadership have made a huge impact on this traditionally unchurched and de-churched Catholic area. With the new facilities, a passion for reaching the lost, and the right leader to create a new foundation in the Worship and Creative Arts ministries, FAC should see astounding growth in the coming years.

Fellowship Alliance Chapel is looking for a dynamic Worship Arts Pastor who will serve as the chief leader and vision caster for the Worship and Creative Arts ministry. They will seamlessly integrate and implement the vision of the church in a relevant and effective way, for the purpose of creating a real and authentic worship environment. The new Worship Arts Pastor will lead the congregation and the members of the worship ministry in growing their own relationships with the Lord through worship. He will not only lead from the platform on a weekly basis, but will also train and equip others to do the same. The new Worship Arts Pastor will mentor volunteer worship leaders and push them to grasp leadership opportunities as needed. Additionally, the Worship Arts Pastor will serve as the musical director, introducing new material while maintaining the appreciation and blending of older or more liturgical elements. Given the rapid advancement of the church, coupled with the demographics of Medford and the track record of Fellowship Alliance Chapel, the capacity of the new Worship Arts Pastor to lead and build teams beyond their current level is imperative.

Formal education is not a predetermining factor for the selection of the new Worship Arts Pastor, although it is likely that he will hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. The successful candidate will have at least five years of church experience and will have a proven track record of working in a setting committed to reaching the unreached with a high degree of innovation, recruitment, and retention of new members. Proven experience in creative thinking and problem solving is strongly preferred. Work history in communication and leadership is a must. In sum, the successful candidate will be ready to go, to "plug and play" from day one on the job.

Nestled between fertile farms and endless natural greenery, when one looks at Medford, New Jersey, they will discover a lot. Captivating, colorful, and cultural, Medford is full of character, offering its residents the perfect mix of country charm, a rustic life, and a quaint utopia. Located in close proximity to the metropolitan gateway of Philadelphia, the city enjoys the best of both worlds; as a stunning little city with bustling festivals, Victorian estates, historic streets, and contemporary facades that capture the essence of a community untainted by city life, as well as a suburban sprawl of sophistication, complemented with unprecedented advantages and amenities of a major urban area that uniquely identifies the state of Pennsylvania. Medford is not only aesthetically enriching and captivating, but also progressive in its economy. In this highly scholastic community, educational options are vast, with multiple public and private institutions that offer an outstanding education. The city has a rich history of mainline and Catholic cultural Christians. With its proximity to Baltimore, DC, New York, and of course Philadelphia, it has a very large concentration of unchurched individuals. The town of Medford averages 25,000 in population, although a significant body of the church is comprised of individuals from the greater surrounding Philadelphia area. With affordable housing together and a sufficient income, Medford offers the ideal living environment for anyone desiring to live here.
