Serving directly under the supervision of the Lead Pastor, the Pastor of Student Ministries will provide spiritual oversight, pastoral care, vision and leadership to the middle school and high school ministries of Cross Keys Fellowship. The position will begin as "part-time" with the goal of becoming full-time. However, the starting salary is very competitive.

Church Profile

Cross Keys Fellowship is a contemporary style church located in Adams County, Pensylvania in between Hanover and Gettysburg. Our mission is summarized in three words: "Connect, Transform, Impact." We are strategically located to reach a large area, which primarily includes Adams and York counties. Our campus sits on 50 acres, with a large portion of it being developed into a community park. We are less than two miles away from New Oxford High School and Middle School, and the park will be a major part of our strategy in reaching students and families. While we have remained a member of the National Association of Free Will Baptists, our membership includes a diversity of theological perspectives. However, our overal church doctrine is more Arminian than Calvinistic, and we are non-charismatic.

Candidate Profile
This position requires a man who is not only called to “youth ministry,” but pastoral ministry. The candidate will have both experience in student/youth ministry, and a solid biblical education. The gift of teaching is necessary for this position, as evidenced in the ability to communicate biblical truths to today’s students. Qualified candidates will have an understanding of youth culture and stay current with the ever changing issues affecting modern students. Musical abilities are not required, but they are helpful. Most importantly, this person will be a devoted disciple of Jesus who considers this position a ministry and not just a job. While this is a “part-time”position, we are looking for a pastor who does not consider this “part-time.” Our next Pastor of Student Ministries will be called to Cross Keys and want to be part of the unique and exciting ministry God has entrusted to us. All qualified candidates will be in agreement with the mission, vision and doctrinal statement of Cross Keys Fellowship. A thorough candidacy process should be expected.
