Job Description:

North Clinton Mennonite Church, located in Wauseon, OH, is a congregation rooted in the Anabaptist faith tradition with a mission statement based on Ephesians 4:13: “That all may come to know and experience the fullness of Christ.” The church is prayerfully seeking a full-time Associate Pastor to give oversight to the Youth Ministry and the Discipleship Ministry of our congregation. The church has a growing congregation of just over 300 with an active youth group, junior and senior high both, of over 50.

The associate pastor would be someone who would bring vision, passion and leadership to Youth Ministries and the Discipleship Ministry with a heart for both evangelism and discipleship in these areas. We seek a pastor willing to train, educate, and love our young people, welcoming them into fellowship and walking with them through discipleship. As the one who would oversee the Discipleship Ministry of our church, we would expect our pastor to have a passion for Christian Education, holding firmly to the Word of God. We would want a person passionate for the position of associate, one who would work as a team player with staff and leadership in a relationship of mutual support, vision, and accountability. We see creativity, joy, and confidence in the Spirit as important qualities in this associate position.
