Job Title: Graphic Designer

Reports To: Director of Communications
FLSA Status: Full-Time | Salary | Exempt



This Graphic Designer role will assist the communications department in efficiently rendering designs into Radiant Church’s different print, email, and online vehicles; as well as assist with electronic media marketing and website. This role is critical in our timely communication of key messages, as well as opportunities for our church to meet people in our community right where they are to help them take their next step on their spiritual journey.



  • Assists with the design, function, and maintenance of the church website(s)

  • Assists with electronic media marketing (social networking sites, widgets, Twitter,

    Facebook and so on).

  • Collaborates with the Director of Communications to develop artwork/layouts for newsletters, brochures, flyers, course catalogs, bulletins and direct mail pieces, as well as business publications such as annual reports and handbooks.

  • Collaborates to develop message-related artwork for electronic and print applications.

  • Collaborates to produce artwork for video and motion graphic projects.

  • Develops all campus signage, such as lobby displays and road-sign banners.

  • Coordinates with print houses and mailing services when necessary.

  • Collaborates with Director of Communications to produce announcement slides.

  • Assists with development and oversight of branding guidelines.

  • Participates in relevant team meetings and events, including weekly staff devotions/meetings.

  • Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS and web trends

  • Knowledge of social media and word-of-mouth marketing strategies

  • Expert knowledge of graphic design and layout software, such as Adobe Creative Suite products including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Actively contributes ideas and suggestions to improve designs and processes

  • High attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills, as well as sound written and oral communication skills

  • Adaptability, professionalism, creativity and organization. This includes the ability to self manage multiple projects with quick-turn around requests and some competing deadlines.

  • Design experience in multiple platforms including, but not limited to print, web and social media. Must understand design nuances that impact these platforms.



  • Post-high school graphic design education and/or experience.

  • All candidates will need to provide examples of creative work. Links to current portfolio
