Oak Hills Church (OHC) is a grace-based, non-denominational, multi-site church with five locations throughout San Antonio, one in Fredericksburg, TX and one international location in Natal, Brazil. Each Campus celebrates a shared passion to reach their
city and neighbors through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a commitment to grow believers in their Christian walk. That passion is expressed in our vision and mission to be the Body of Christ to every neighborhood in our city and beyond. We see this as a
goal that is within reach because of the collaborative and team led nature of our Campuses. For over 50 years we have lived out our commitment to serve both our local community and neighbors by equipping each person to
belong to a loving community of believers, grow in their relationship with Christ, and
serve others through their spiritual gifts and resources. Today, over 10,000 people gather weekly in their homes, on their campuses and through online live-streaming opportunities to make that mission and vision active in their lives.
Since its beginning Oak Hills Church has been shepherded by Elder couples who come alongside Ministry Staff Teams to care for the Body of Christ at OHC and the people God has placed around us in our neighborhoods, workplace and schools. Together they serve
the city and world with the Gospel of grace and a focused ministry to adults, teenagers and children.
OHC seeks a Campus Minister, whose primary purpose is to inspire, equip, empower and lead the OHC Ministry Staff and lay leaders at their Campus. The Campus Minister serves the OHC Body as the lead minister at their location and is responsible for the implementation
of the shared ministry plan of Oak Hills Church in their geographic location. Together with Elders and OHC Community Ministers, the Campus Minister works to implement healthy ministry and growth that stems from our focused mission and vision as a local church.
A successful Campus Minister must prioritize relationship with their team and congregation, demonstrate a passion for calling people to a mission, casting vision and equipping leaders to lead teams for unified and healthy ministry growth and progress.
On Easter Sunday of 2005 Oak Hills Church launched its first ever off-site Campus and Journey Fellowship (Journey) was born in a rented facility that was once known as the Blue Bonnet Palace Dance Hall. On Easter 2015, they celebrated their 10 year anniversary
with over 2,000 people gathering for worship across 4 services. The same stage that once hosted celebrities such as Alan Jackson, George Strait and Willie Nelson has been transformed to invite people into worship and engage the powerful message of God’s grace
and redemption. From the very start the people who call Journey their home have been unified by the message of grace and a passion for reaching the lost, unchurched and disenfranchised. Located on the border of Schertz and Selma, TX in Northeast San Antonio,
Journey enjoys an incredible congregation of people who are called together to reach their city and neighborhoods with the power of Jesus Christ.
