Each year, Triumph has successfully maximized their influence, with seven campus locations sweeping across the Southwest region of Detroit. With a motto of being "the Church where the Word is the Word," Triumph Church strives to operate upon the steadfast truth of God’s Word, nurturing believers through fellowship, discipleship, stewardship, and worship.

Triumph Church seeks a Director of Pastoral Affairs/Events who will primarily be responsible for providing direction and oversight to all events and programming for the weekend services of Triumph Church. The successful candidate will be responsible for all necessary research, logistics, deployment, and the supervision of tasks relating to events at Triumph Church, as well as post-event analysis. • Responsible for all ministry calendars, as well as the negotiation of budgets and expenses with outside vendors.
  • Assess project and resource requirements, as well as track all expenditures, and manage inventory control system for all receiving, storing, and issuance of food/beverage supplies.

While education is not a predetermining factor in the selection of a new Director of Pastoral Affairs/Events, the successful candidate must be one who has demonstrated 7+ years of professional leadership and oversight in large scale events, catering, hospitality and ministry project management. A Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in hospitality, business, or management preferred.

Best known for being the home of the American automobile industry, Detroit is a city now focused on reestablishing itself as an economic and entertainment epicenter for the state of Michigan. With Art decor and neo-gothic skyscrapers all alongside Detroit’s waterfront, the ‘Motor City’ is one of only 12 American cities with professional teams in all four major sports (Lions/NFL, Tigers/MLB, Pistons/NBA, Red Wings/NHL). With over 30 colleges and universities, including Wayne State University and the University of Detroit Mercy, Detroit’s rich music and performing arts history is a still draw for many young professionals and singles in search for affordable housing and cultural diversity.
