Hours: 40 hours per week (salaried).
Sunday, 8:30am-12:30pm (you must know the congregation!); 5:00-9:00pm (Refuge youth) 
Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday, 8:30-5pm (unpaid 30-min lunch) 
Wednesday, 1:30-9:30pm (TGIW: you must know the volunteers!) 
Salary: $15/hour ($31,200 per year) plus pension.
Small Groups – create and maintain a small groups ministry for all age levels
1. Nursery: coordinate nursery for worship and other events; oversee nursery workers.
2. 252 Children’s Ministry: develop and support this Sunday program; oversee children’s workers.
3. Refuge Teen Ministry: develop and support this program; oversee Refuge volunteers.
4. Adult Education: develop and support adult Spiritual Formation; oversee facilitators.
Every Member in Ministry – create and maintain a process to engage members in meaningful ministry
1. Develop and support a S.H.A.P.E. ministry to help members and attenders understand their:
a. S)piritual Gifts – what am I gifted to do?
b. H)eart – what do I love to do?
c. A)bilties – what talents and skills do I have?
d. P)assions – what is my unique style?
e. E)xperiences – how have my life’s experiences shaped me?
2. Develop and support a VolunteerMatch ministry to help members, attenders, and our community:
a. Discover ways they can make a short or long-term commitment to making a difference
b. Coordinate and communicate (web, newsletter, job board) volunteer opportunities
c. Coordinate volunteer clearing (background checks, etc.)
d. Coordinate opportunity vetting (ensure safety and appropriateness of the serve situations)
e. Develop and implement a volunteer recognition program
TGIW: Thank God It’s Wednesday – create a mid-week ministry that helps create community
1. Coordinate volunteers (setup, tickets, servers, clean-up) and our paid chef
2. Coordinate special events (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines… have fun!)
3. Coordinate classes/facilitators for all age levels
A professing Christian able to lead others to Christ and help grow their faith.
A self-starter who works well in a team environment with mutual accountability.
An easy and natural chemistry especially with children and youth.
Excellent leadership skills – this job requires you to bring out the best in others.
Excellent systems-level thinking – this job requires you to build and tweak systems that guide people.
Excellent verbal and written skills – able to understand others and communicate effectively with them.
Excellent project management skills – able to break down and complete complex or lengthy tasks.
A demonstrated proficiency in multi-tasking – managing multiple tasks with an attention to details.
A demonstrated proficiency in church office etiquette – confidentiality and cordiality.
A demonstrated proficiency with email, social media, Google, MS-Word and/or MS-Publisher.
A flexibility in thinking that allows solutions to evolve from changing circumstances.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree or equivalent church experience.
