This is a part time position consisting of a minimum of at least 20 hours per week.
The worship leader is responsible to oversee the Sunday worship at Crossridge Church in Sherwood, Oregon. This is an opportunity to use your creativity and music abilities to equip others and lead the church community in meaningful and fun experiences. The
worship leader will be directly responsible to the Lead Pastor. This position is to provide music leadership for up to 3 weekly regular services at multiple locations as directed by the Lead Pastor.

Overview of Duties to Succeed:
To meet weekly with the Lead Pastor to plan and carry out the vision for Sunday morning worship at Crossridge (order of service, elements of service, flow & timings, coordinating who is on the platform) – some to be done in meeting and some on own
during the week
To create an environment of worship – creative experiences, décor, special events during the year (Good Friday, Christmas Eve, etc...)
To recruit and train volunteers to serve with you – focus on worship ministry including technical support (i.e. sound, musicians, singers) (Equip them to succeed)
To lead the music team in a mid week rehearsal and a sound check/run through on Sunday morning.
To be a part of Crossridge’s community – initiating relationships and deepening friendships, participating in community events (baptisms, picnics, BBQ’s, Etc.)
To provide leadership and direction to the Sunday Morning impressions teams by recruiting, training, scheduling, and support. (greeters, ushers, hospitality, decor, info booth)

weekly hours. We try to be a team and support each other as needed or called upon by the lead pastor or other staff needs. Our desire is that if asked, you might assist. If you need help, that you would ask. We are a team.
Salary based on experience and education
Holiday Pay - Proportionate to actual work day hours
2 weeks vacation (only 2 Sundays) - May be carried over if unused but not to exceed 4 weeks per year. (no more than 4 Sundays per year)
