Job Description:

K2 The Church is looking for a Director for our Nursery-Preschool ministry! 


We have a dynamic and thriving kids ministry that averages about 350 kids on a Sunday. We love the fact that our kids ministry is the reason many families find our church.  Good news travels fast! We serve a diverse community and are located in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley. 


We believe that kids should have fun while they learn about Jesus. We have a strong belief that all kids learn differently and our programs reflect that. We have a growing ministry that serve our kids with unique needs and learning styles starting at the youngest of ages.


Qualifications & Experience-


The Preschool Director will develop leaders who carry out the vision and mission of Adventure Canyon (K2 The Church's Children's Ministry). The Director will empower and equip volunteer leaders as they provide a fun & quality experience for children and families.


Core competencies of the Director:


1) Have been a practicing believer for a minimum of 5 years, with strong core biblical knowledge.


2) Have the ability to train as well as lead leaders. Support a volunteer lead ministry. (Previous experience leading volunteers or ministry experience is preferred)


 3) Have Communication Skills, both verbal and written that communicate vision both with children and adults.


4)  Be a team player as a staff member of K2 the Church, understanding that there may be additional all staff responsibilities.
