Tenth Church is a people-centric, Bible-believing local church with a predominantly evangelistic approach to ministry that is making a monumental impact in the region of Vancouver. As a mutisite, international church, Tenth has gained a solid and upstanding
reputation in the area, particularly in the communities of Mount Pleasant, Kitsiliano, and East Vancouver, where the main campus and its extension sites are planted.
Led by Pastor Ken Shigematsu who is responsible for growing the church from 150 to nearly 2000, Tenth’sdiversity, authenticity, and transparency draws both the churched and unchurched into its walls. Marked by their missional outreach,
unconventional nature, generational perspective, and insightful messages, Tenth works to be a church that brings healing to the broken, and deems it one of their highest values. Representing people from various backgrounds and religions, the church places

Tenth Church is looking for an Executive Pastor who will serve alongside the Senior Pastor as a fellow bearer and catalyst of the vision, mission, and values of the church. He will be a high-level communicator and manager, with the ability to lead in a relevant,
challenging, and life giving way. They will likely be gifted in shepherding, teaching, and administration, so as to co-lead the church membership and execute the logistical ministry aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree with the understanding that they will need to be accredited by the Christian Missionary Alliance within a year of employment. They will maintain a high personal standard of excellence and celebrate ministry
with dignity. A passion for God, a pastor's heart, and a love for the highly diversified city of Vancouver is imperative for this role. This individual will display a strong level of emotional intelligence and a discerning spirit. In addition to these characteristics,
the successful candidate for the position of Executive Pastor at Tenth Church will posess the following skills:

in British Columbia, with a moderate and oceanic climate. Additionally, the city has thriving arts, culture, sports, and a recreational platform that is unique to its environment. Vancouver has been host to many international conferences and events, including
