New Hope Community Church in Bryan, OH is searching for a new Lead Pastor. Our current Lead Pastor is leaving at the end of the year to plant a new church in Michigan (with our blessing and support), and we’re looking for the right person to lead New Hope
into the future.
We’re looking for someone that can provide vision, direction, and strategic leadership for our future. This person will be a team-player, working collaboratively with our elders and staff to provide purpose and oversight.
As our Lead Pastor, you’ll need to be focused on the ministry opportunities and possibilities in our community and region, and exercise discernment in knowing how to best make and mature disciples.
As our primary communicator, you will have responsibility to preach/teach Biblical and relevant messages that will encourage, inspire, and motivate the church to action. You’ll need to be able to communicate meaning and insight from Scripture in a way that
connects with our people.
You’ll work with a full ministry staff, including an Executive Pastor, Worship Arts Director, Student Ministries Director, Care Pastor, a part-time Adult Ministries Director, and two part-time Children’s Ministry Directors. We’ll want you to mentor, encourage,
and set the example to them through your hard work and cultivation of personal relationships.
We’re a church of all ages; particularly families with young children. We’re a church of 750+ in a town of 8,500. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, and love to laugh. We’re elder-led, but work as a team with the Lead Pastor and Executive Pastor to help
carry out the vision of the church.
Compensation and benefits are based on your experience and qualifications. You can find out more about New Hope at our website: www.newhopecc.org.
Since our current Lead Pastor will be leaving at the end of the year, we would like to find the right person for this position as soon as possible.
To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to email@example.com. Let us know why you think New Hope might be a great fit for you. Send along a link to a video message if you have one available.
