The Video Arts Coordinator will head the video production team of Bel Air Presbyterian Church, directly reporting to the Director of Technical Arts. This position requires a broad knowledge of all aspects of video production and broadcasting “in house”/IMAG’ing; Web casting/video podcasting; Video Venue or Café; Live Streaming, and Delay Streaming (i.e. Doremi, etc.).
-A full understanding of video production, directing and editing is required, as well as a knowledge and understanding of camera systems, both man’d and robotic, switching systems, lighting as it relates to video, audio as it relates to video, IMAG’ing, video signal flow, etc. and the ability to maintain all video systems campus-wide.
-A complete understanding of software programs that include, but are not limited to:
Final Cut Pro and all CODEC and compression issues related to this non-linear editing format; Motion; Compressor; QuickTime; etc.
-Compile and train a volunteer team of video operators for church services and oversee this team.
- Participate in Worship Arts team meetings.
-An understanding of the importance that video, lighting and audio play in presenting the gospel in a positive and professional manner is required.
-To have a personal relationship with Christ and a desire to magnify His light, both personally as well as vocationally.
