The Children’s Ministries Pastor is responsible for fulfilling the mission of New Hope Church – To know Christ and to make Him known – through the development and implementation of the vision, strategy and tactical elements for all programs, activities and
educational aspects related to the Children’s Ministries at all campuses.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
*To provide leadership to the Children’s Ministries Team.
*Help to develop and implement the vision for Children’s Ministries.
*Provide strategic leadership and planning initiatives for Children’s Ministries Team.
*Set direction and train Children’s Ministries Team and volunteers.
*Offer pastoral care and encouragement of Children’s Ministries Team and volunteers.
*Develop processes necessary for effective Children’s Ministries operations
*Responsible for Children’s Ministries budget and financial oversight.
•Oversee the selection and implementation of curriculum.
•Develop communication plans to keep the Team, volunteers and parents informed.
•Responsible for all hiring of Children’s Ministries Team.
•Manage communications between ministries that interact with Children’s Ministries.
•Develop and implement all safety and security processes for Children’s Ministries in cooperation with the church’s safety and security team.
•Oversee and implement all programming for Children’s Ministries (primarily for weekend services [Nursery- 4th]).
•Coordinate family events and camps.
•Bachelor’s Degree required or
•Minimum of 5 years commensurate experience
•Reports to Campus Pastor
•Supervises and directs Children’s Ministries Team
•Works closely with all areas of ministries within New Hope Church
