Job Description:

The Lost Pines Cowboy Church (LPCC), located in Elgin, Texas, is seeking a part-time Co-Worship Team Leader.  For the past several years, the co-worship team has served in leading culturally relevant, musically excellent worship services, and special events.  One of the team leaders has received a new work assignment in another state, and our desire is to bring in another  leader to partner with our existing leader.

LPCC is a thriving, outwardly focused, 7 year old western heritage culture church that is growing spiritually and numerically.  Currently, a typical Sunday Morning service gathers 250-300 folks from all kinds of backgrounds.  The church has a clear mission of helping people have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and a clear vision of being a church that unchurched people love to attend.  LPCC is blessed with a wonderful new building after meeting in a rented saloon for some time.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled musician (one or more of keyboards, guitar, steel guitar, drums), quality lead vocalist, who has a heart for and skill in leading a team that leads other to worship.   The musical style of the church is a mix of contemporary Christian, contemporary prais and worship, and traditional hymns, but all done in a unique pop country style.  The current team has two quitarists, a bassist, violin, occasional drummers, and several vocalists.  The candidate will also be someone who understands and embraces ‘church for the unchurched’, cowboy church, and is in general agreement with the doctrine of the church.

A priority will be expanding the team by praying for, drawing in, and developing new team members in order to rotate teams and in anticipations of a likely eventual move to two morning services in the future, as within a year or two the church will be out of space at its current growth rate.

This position is part time with the primary responsibilities being Sunday Morning early rehearsal, Sunday morning service, and Tuesday night rehearsal.

Interested candidates please refer to LPCC website at for more information.
