Job Description:

Title: Special Events Coordinator
Reports to: Kyung Lee, Executive Pastor
Job Type: Part-Time
*Approximately 40 weeks per year. (Summer months off)
*Approximately 20 hours per week.


Ideal Candidate:
*Possesses a desire to be involved in local church ministry.
*Desires to gain experience working in a large-scale (approximately 1800 member) church ministry.
-This position offers invaluable behind-the-scenes access and hands-on leadership.
-This position’s salary is not intended to be the sole source of income for a family.
*Desires to work in a team environment.
*Possesses a strong work ethic, confident personality, leadership skills, and habit for taking initiative. Would not be intimidated by leading the church staff/pastors on a project (ex. Christmas & Easter planning)
*Has event planning experience
Primary Responsibilities:
Plano & Frisco Campus Special Events
*Manage details as project leader for all Special Events.
*Facilitate occasional meetings with Ministry Leadership Team (MLT).
*Recruit, Manage, and lead the Special Events Team Volunteers.
-Maintain prompt and clear communication.
-Delegate assignments.
-Manage scheduling of volunteers at each event.
*Coordinate Special Event ideas with the Executive Pastor and other staff members. *Evaluate events with the MLT.
*Communicate calendaring requests for facilities and setup through the church office.
*Facilitate signups when extra volunteers are needed.
*Work to present events that are excellent, memorable, and glorifying to God.
