Job Description:

Crossroads International Church Amsterdam seeks new Teaching Pastor

We are a vibrant multicultural community of about 1200 people from over 60 nations.  We are a Christ-centered non-denominational church, committed to an unchurched generation.  English is our common language.  Founded in 1987 as a church particularly for the English-speaking international community, over the years we have increasingly attracted people from the local Dutch community to our church.  As such our community achieves a happy balance of stability of longer term membership combined with the variety and diversity of a sometimes more transient international community.  Agreement on the essentials of the faith and a celebration of our diversity, are our unifying factors.

In June 2015 James Paton, our then Teaching Pastor, left our community to join a church in Calgary, Canada.  We are therefore searching for a new Teaching Pastor to join our Leadership Team (which includes Miriam Phillips, our Executive Pastor) and become a key member of our collaborative leadership structure.

As Teaching Pastor you will serve as primary teacher and communicator, providing visionary spiritual leadership for the life and ministry of the community, bringing discernment, articulation and focus to priorities that support our vision.  You will bring a creative passion to Christ-centered, Bible-based preaching, resulting in a community with vision who are being transformed through relationship with Christ and living out their faith through compassionate engagement with our world.

More details regarding the function, structure of collaborative leadership and core responsibilities are on our web site at

To apply, please submit your CV together with a motivational cover letter to by October 15.
