Crossroads Bible Church (CBC) is passionate about worshipping and serving God alongside people of diverse backgrounds and walks of life.


Founded in 1962 with just seven families, CBC has grown into a thriving community of over 2,000 weekly attendees. A church heavily invested in local and global missions, the church is more than a local body of believers; it is a Christ-centered family. For the past 34 years, Jerry Mitchell has been the senior pastor of Crossroads Bible Church, and has helped steward the church’s reputation as a place where God’s Word will be taught with conviction and relevancy, and where people of all ages can find life-giving relationships.


Crossroads Bible Church seeks an Executive Director who will serve as a support to the Senior Pastor by helping to identify and act upon ideas that enable the church to operate more effectively and, in so doing, to better fulfill its vision. This position will have direct oversight responsibilities in the areas of Management/Leadership of the ministry staff and general oversight of Administrative and Human Resource Development, including involvement with the Elders and Committees. In terms of ministry oversight, the Executive Director will have several direct reports that span from connections, outreach, and family ministries, to communications, worship and leadership development.  


This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, while a MBA or related Master’s Degree is desirable. Seminary or other biblical/theological education will be a plus. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of growing a ministry in a community setting that has interactions with people from multi-generational backgrounds and economic statuses. The candidate will have at least three years of professional, executive experience in a church of 1, 000 attendees or more. This role requires strong administrative giftedness, along with excellent verbal and written skills, so the successful candidate must possess the ability to think biblically, creatively, and critically regarding how to help the local church and its staff is as effective as possible. The successful candidate must be a ‘ministry strategist,’ progress and results oriented, and capable of turning ideas into action. 


They will additionally possess qualities of an elder as listed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, with a high level of emotional intelligence, an intuitive nature, and an upstanding character of integrity and credibility, guided by a sound set of ethical principles. It is imperative that he is a creative and pragmatic problem solver who is energized by challenges, with the ability to identify untapped opportunities of which to capitalize for the progressive growth of the organization. The candidate will be a well-rounded person with a good sense of humor,  a pastoral heart, an uncompromising work ethic, and a commitment to the vision, mission, and core beliefs of Crossroads Bible Church.
