Park Cities Baptist Church (PCBC) began with a mission of reaching people in North Dallas for the Lord. Over the summer of 1939, a few men who lived in the Park Cities area gathered some neighbors and organized a new church. Since this time, PCBC has been steadily accomplishing its missional strategy--to worship, connect, serve and multiply. With a wonderfully diverse membership of over 10,000 people, the church family is marked by overflowing generosity resulting in hope for the hopeless through global missions and outreach influence that runs deep into their city. The inexhaustible grace of Christ guides the people of PCBC to love and serve others.


Park Cities Baptist Church seeks a Children's Minister that will exhibit a passion for children to experience God during their time at church. PCBC has a significant vision for the next generation, and it is imperative that this individual is able to lead, steward, execute, and deliver based upon this vision. They will cast vision and set the direction for the Children’s Ministry in alignment with the overall purpose of the church, through which, they will be directly responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive, biblically-based, education and discipleship ministry for children in Grades 1st through 4th. This role will lead and grow a Christ-centered, engaging, and relevant ministry with strategy, creativity, and excellence. They will be an efficient leader who will work alongside the children, parents, leadership and staff of Park Cities Baptist Church, to champion the cause of the organization.


A bachelor's degree is required for this position. A seminary degree is preferable, although experience could be substituted for this option. The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally strategic and intrinsically people-oriented thought leader, with a passion for Children's Ministry. They will possess previous leadership experience with a solid background in a related field such as education or child development. He or she will have previous church staff and/or ministry experience with considerable understanding in leading, training, and deploying individuals/teams through sustainability and reform. The successful candidate will additionally be multi-faceted in his or her ability to bear responsibility, and have an upstanding character of integrity, guided by a sound set of ethical principles. They will be dedicated to excellence, and whole-heartedly commit to the mission, vision, and core beliefs of Park Cities Baptist Church.
