Matthew's Party is a new kind of church just launched in SE Aurora, CO meeting in a 24/7 space overlooking the main plaza at Southlands Mall, which is the “Times Square” of our community.
We are looking for people who are passionate about and long to be a part of what God is doing NEXT.
We are building and expanding our ministry lead team, but this opportunity is not for just anyone. This is church unconventional. This is thinking beyond the template. This is a work in progress built on the calling and desire to be part of what God is doing for the future not simply rehashing or repackaging the past.
We are a highly relational bunch. We are entrepreneurial. We are passionate… and we’re comfortable with admitting we don’t have all the answers. We’re also comfortable with talking about the uncomfortable, asking hard questions, and seeking God’s ancient wisdom in the light of today’s understanding of the world in which we live, and doing so humbly.
Our current team, including our lead and founding pastor, do not yet draw salaries, but are responsible for raising their own support, as will those who may initially feel called to become a part of our team. It’s not that anyone is against a paycheck, it’s simply that as we begin we’re beginning small (intentionally), working with the resources at hand, walking in faith while being responsible with God’s provision now and for the future.
This is an opportunity to imagine, dream, discover, create, plan, build, serve, and lead. This is an opportunity to allow Jesus to transform lives. If you are looking for more than a job, but an opportunity to be part of creating a movement, have been dreaming of and praying for an opportunity to be empowered to be who God has called and created you to be then perhaps you should consider becoming a part of our lead team.
Our MISSION is to enrich lives by leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ while sharing life together.
Our VISION is to create churches nonreligious people love to be a part of.
Our STRATEGY is to connect people in significant relationships by creating environments which inspire, encourage, and equip a growing faith, intimacy with God, community with one another, and influence beyond our gathering.
There are ministry opportunities available church-wide and beyond, including but not limited to:
CREATIVE AND PERFORMING ARTS
LOCAL AND GLOBAL OUTREACH
LIVE, WEB, AND BROADCAST EVENT TECH PRODUCTION

Matthew’s Party (Matt.9:9-13) is a life enriching gathering for people in process; a place where imperfect everyday people, the curious, skeptical, unconvinced, the burned out, beat-up, and broken, as well as the committed, informed, and sold-out come together, connect in significant relationships, and thoughtfully consider the life-changing truth that Jesus Christ cares for us and died for our sins. This is a place where all people are welcome.
