We are searching for an administrative professional with great people skills to serve as the Operations Director for Grace Place Children’s Ministry.  The Operations Director recruits, equips, trains, shepherds, and leads staff and volunteers to plan, coordinate and execute special Grace Place events, services, and trainings and ensure a warm, welcoming, secure and inviting environment for Grace families and first time guests.  This person will use his/her operational, logistical, and communication skills to support effective Grace Place ministry and ensure that all Grace Place volunteers are properly screened and approved prior to serving.




Provide Strategic, Effective and Inspiring Leadership for Staff

  • Build a culture defined by love and unity
  • Provide direction, training, support, feedback and coaching for those you lead


Recruit, Envision, Equip, Direct and Spiritually Lead Volunteer Administrative & Hospitality Teams

  • Identify and recruit volunteers
  • Train, lead, and direct volunteer teams for maximum impact


Leverage Administrative Volunteer Team to Plan, Coordinate, and Execute Special Events

  • Develop a project plan with timelines and identify and delegate the component pieces of the project
  • Provide logistical coordination and support for special events and trainings


Partner with Hospitality Volunteer Team to Create Great Guest Experience

  • Partner with Grace Place volunteer team to design a highly engaging lobby & check-in experience
  • Ensure volunteers know and uphold safety and security standards
  • Provide information and resources needed for volunteers to support families


Partner with the Volunteer Teams to Build Relationships With Children and Families

  • Connect relationally with children and families during drop-off and pick-up times
  • Build relationships with the parents and follow-up as needed


Ensure All Grace Place Volunteers Are Approved, Trained, and Onboarded Prior to Serving

  • Develop a volunteer application and onboarding process
  • Train Grace Place team in requirements and processes
  • Complete screening, processing, and paperwork for all volunteers

Complete Administrative Responsibilities

  • Create systems to maintain all administrative documentation
  • Maintain the Fellowship One database for Grace Place families:


Model a Growing and Vibrant Relationship with Christ

  • Manifest the fruit of the spirit in all work habits and relationships

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 Years Experience in Administrative Position
