Job Description:

Position Title: Worship Intern

Reports To: Worship Pastor                  

Term: 1yr internship with stipend

Start Date: Flexilbe - Now through Jan. '16

 

 

Principle Function:

The Worship Intern will assist the Worship Pastor with the tasks and functions of the worship ministry on a day-to-day basis.  He must understand the mission of the ministry and how to most effectively accomplish them.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A progressing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • A deep passion for leading the Church in worship
  • Working toward a degree in Music or Worship
  • Adherence to the Baptist Faith & Message
  • Agreement with the mission of Christ Community Church

 

Understanding of the industry, language & tools

    • Computer skills - working knowledge of PC and MAC, social media, etc. 
    • Worship Ministry Tools - working knowledge of Propresenter, Planning Center Online, Graceway Media 
    • Audio/Video/Lights - working knowledge of soundboards, cameras and light systems
    • Music - needs to have a general knowledge of charts, lead sheets, etc.
    • Must be willing & able to learn

 

Administrative Duties

    • Maintain calendar of events for the Worship Ministry
    • Maintain appointments for Worship Pastor
    • Track expenses & budget
    • Track attendance & service record of ministry participants
    • Answer phone calls
    • Communicate on behalf of the Worship Pastor
