Hume Lake Christian Camps is looking for an individual with a passion for ministry and a desire to serve others. The Controller is a full-time position responsible for accounting and financial operations while working in a team environment to see the mission
of the Organization is furthered through effective and efficient use of financial resources. An understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Not-for-Profit industry standards will be a key component of the individual’s success--professional
certifications are desired (including CPA license). The position will be based out of Hume Lake’s Fresno, California Office. However, responsibilities will include working at the camp facilities within the Sequoia National Forest, as needed. An applicant should
be able to work independently and meet the various demands of the Organization, primarily as it relates to accounting and financial reporting. An ability to apply judgment will need to be demonstrated as well as a high level of professionalism. The Controller
position offers both medical and other optional health benefits.
- Three to five years experience in public or private accounting functions; Not-for-profit experience desired;
- Bachelors degree or higher in business related course of study, emphasis in accounting at minimum.
